Once there was a very thirsty eagle who came upon a water jug.
The jug only had a small amount of water and the eagle couldn't
reach it with his beak. A thought came to him and he dropped a
nearby pebble into the jug. As he dropped more pebbles, the
water level began to rise. Finally, he was able to take his drink.
Working with the pebbles may have saved the eagle's life. Most
birds, or even people, would have ignored the tiny pebbles and
just thought about the water. |
