The Bird and

the Farmer

Once there was a mother bird with a nest in the middle of a wheat field.
Every day before she left to search for food, she would tell her babies
to listen carefully. When she returned, her little ones would say, "We
must move. The farmer has asked his neighbors to help cut the wheat."
The mother simply said, "No need to worry." This went on for a whole
week with the mother bird saying, "Don't worry." Finally, the baby birds
said, "The farmer is going to cut the wheat himself." The mother replied,
"Now it is time to move and we must hurry."
